Independent information about the Thailand Digital Arrival Card
Thailand Arrival Guide is an independent editorial resource that explains the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) for travellers entering Thailand. We cover requirements, timing, the application process, common problems and the wider context of Thai entry rules — clearly and without commercial pressure.
What is the TDAC?
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card is the electronic replacement for the paper TM6 card. It is a short online declaration submitted before crossing the Thai border. It is not a visa: it complements, but does not replace, the visa or visa exemption that authorises a traveller to enter Thailand.
Almost all foreign nationals arriving in Thailand are expected to complete one. The form can be submitted free of charge on the official government website operated by the Immigration Bureau of Thailand.
