Costs and processing

A clear summary of the cost of the Thailand Digital Arrival Card and the typical processing time on the official government platform.

Cost of the TDAC

The Thailand Digital Arrival Card is free of charge on the official government website operated by the Thai Immigration Bureau. There is no government fee for submitting the form.

Some third-party websites offer to submit the form on behalf of travellers in exchange for a fee. Using such services is a personal choice; they are not required, and they are not affiliated with the Thai government. The same form can always be completed directly on the official platform.

Processing time

In most cases the form is processed almost immediately. Once a traveller submits the data, the confirmation is generated within seconds or minutes. There is no separate review period to wait for, as the TDAC is a declaration rather than an application that must be approved.

When to submit

  • Submissions open a few days before arrival, within an official window.
  • Forms submitted too early are rejected by the system.
  • Last-minute submissions are technically possible but riskier.
  • A day or two before departure is generally a balanced choice.

For more detail on timing, see how and when to complete the TDAC.

Related costs to anticipate

The TDAC itself is free, but other parts of the entry process may involve costs that travellers should plan for separately, including:

  • Visa fees, where a visa is required.
  • Visa on arrival fees, where applicable.
  • Airport transfers, accommodation and travel insurance.
